North Fashion: Give a bestseller a new season.
A familiar product can still give customers a fresh reason to pay attention. Our work for North Fashion connected customer language, seasonal timing and campaign production, while developing the welcome journey alongside the regular send calendar.
Selected delivery records: September 2022–June 2023. Copy, campaign strategy and production through Eli Zeta.
The product was familiar. The reason to buy could change.
North Fashion was one of the fashion stores we supported through Eli Zeta. The agency’s August 2022 scope record describes our responsibility for copy, strategy and production for the brand. This sat inside a broader multi-brand programme, where each store still needed its own products, campaign angles and customer journeys.
A practical challenge appeared in September: a water-resistant hooded jacket had already featured in several summer campaigns. The team saw an autumn opportunity in its reviews, which highlighted water resistance and room for layering. The decision was not simply whether to feature a bestseller again. It was how to make its next appearance relevant, while taking recent sends into account.
That is a useful retention problem. New stock gives a campaign an obvious subject; an established product requires a clearer explanation of why it belongs in the customer’s life now.
What changes when the same product meets a different season?
Start with the customer’s use case.
The September 2022 discussion began with product reviews rather than an invented feature list. Water resistance and layering suggested an autumn angle for a jacket already familiar to the audience. Trayan’s response confirmed it was a longstanding bestseller and had appeared repeatedly over the summer. The team considered revisiting it later in the month, rather than immediately repeating the recent send.
Give each calendar slot a distinct job.
A February 2023 production update shows copy for Cozy Collection, New Arrivals and Clearance moving through review, with a Product Spotlight still to be written. These were different reasons to visit the store: a seasonal collection, new merchandise, an offer and a focused product story. The record also shows the handover from copy review into design. Planned dates in that queue are not proof that every message was sent on that date.
Connect campaigns with the welcome journey.
Welcome-flow work appears in January 2023. In May, the team recorded a request to add product or collection showcases to the existing welcome sequence. That created a second use for merchandising knowledge: an ongoing introduction for new subscribers, alongside messages intended for the current campaign audience. The expansion was a requested next step, not a verified conversion win.
Treat migration as production work.
January and June records reference migration work and moving an updated dress campaign into Klaviyo. Moving platforms meant carrying the campaign work into another production environment, not just changing a tool name on a report. The accessible records identify those tasks, but do not establish a single date when every North Fashion flow was fully migrated.
A more deliberate production process.
The records show a working process for developing product angles, reviewing copy, handing it into design and developing welcome-flow content. They make the creative decisions visible: which product to revisit, what seasonal benefit to emphasise, and how a collection message differs from a clearance message.
They also show why the work continued after individual campaigns. A May 2023 review raised performance concerns and discussed deeper segmentation. That discussion is part of the story, but the available evidence does not show a measured improvement from the proposed segmentation work.
This is a campaign and journey-development case study. We do not have a reconciled North Fashion before-and-after revenue comparison to publish. The documented transformation is in the way the programme was planned and produced, rather than a claimed growth percentage.
What to apply
Before repeating a bestseller, look for a new buying context in customer reviews. The same feature can answer a different need in another season.
Separate the roles in your calendar. A new-arrivals email and a product spotlight should not need the same argument to earn a click.
Keep a clear line between copy ready for review, design ready for approval and a campaign actually sent. During migration, add a separate check for production in the destination account.
Scope and evidence
What did Thrivelia do for North Fashion?
We supported copy, campaign strategy and production through Eli Zeta. The selected 2022–2023 records cover seasonal product angles, a campaign copy-review queue, welcome-flow work and Klaviyo migration tasks.
Does this case study prove revenue growth from the migration?
No. The available records describe the work and its production process, but do not provide a reconciled before-and-after revenue comparison or confirm the completion date of every migrated flow.
